Paulo Cardoso

Paulo Cardoso started in radio in 1955 at the Pedro Nunes Secondary School (Lisbon) and moved to APA (Artistic Advertising Agency). In 1958, he started working on Diário do Ar with José Fialho Gouveia, a remarkable programme of four hours every day, with music and small reports. He went to work in Angola at the beginning of 1961, working for Rádio Ecclesia, Rádio Clube do Lobito, Rádio Comercial de Angola and Rádio Clube do Huambo. He returned to Lisbon to produce the PBX programme for Rádio Clube Português (1969-1971). He then returned to Angola, where he continued working for Rádio Clube Português, in a medium wave station inaugurated in Luanda (April 1973). He was also involved in a cable television project in Luanda.
